A distinctive three-bedroom tropical house defined by its curved architecture, traditional alang-alang roofs and open living spaces, surrounded by a lush private garden and swimming pool in the heart of Seminyak.
Round House feels immediately different. Its rounded forms and sweeping thatched roofs soften the architecture, while open living spaces allow the garden, pool and tropical air to become part of the house itself. There is a sense of calm here that feels surprisingly removed from Seminyak outside, less about staying indoors or outdoors, and more about living somewhere in between.
Traditional alang-alang roofs curve above open living spaces, creating a house that seems to have grown naturally into its tropical garden. There are few hard boundaries between inside and outside. The living room looks towards the swimming pool, greenery surrounds the pavilions, and another round thatched structure waits in the garden for long lunches and dinners outdoors. The architecture changes the rhythm of the stay.
Rather than separating the house from its surroundings, the architecture invites nature in. Tropical greenery frames the spaces, daylight moves freely through the house, and much of daily life naturally shifts towards the garden.
Tucked away in the main house, are two air-conditioned bedrooms. Each with their unique charm. Both have a queen seize bed and mosquito net. They share the generously spaced en-suite bathroom with double showers, two washbasins, free standing bath tub and two toilets. Behind the main roundings, there is a surprise third bedroom. You will find a flat screen tv in the master bedroom.
