The Papaya House

— Gili Meno

A Private Garden Hideaway, Steps From the Sea

A peaceful three-bedroom island home tucked into its own sandy garden, where bamboo bungalows, a private pool and open-air living create a quieter kind of Gili Meno escape just moments from the beach.

Open Spaces, Endless Blue

— Where Architecture Meets the Sea

Papaya House feels hidden in the best possible way. Enter through its wooden gate and the island seems to become your own little world. Soft sand replaces pathways, tropical greenery surrounds the house and the private swimming pool sits quietly at the centre of the garden.

The beach is only a short walk away, yet Papaya House feels wonderfully secluded. Close enough to swim in the sea whenever the mood takes you, but private enough to return home and disappear again.

— Island Comfort, Naturally Designed —

Papaya House is shaped around relaxed garden living

The master bedroom offers a generous king-size bed and private en-suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower, while two separate timber and bamboo bungalows sit across the garden, each with its own air-conditioned bedroom and bathroom.

This separation gives the house an easy balance between privacy and togetherness, particularly for families or friends sharing the island experience.

Outside, the sandy garden becomes part of everyday life. The private pool invites long, quiet afternoons, an outdoor shower brings a little more of the tropics into the routine, and a shaded dining bale creates a natural place to gather for breakfast or dinner beneath the island sky.

There is nothing complicated about staying here. Wake slowly, walk to the beach, come home for a swim, then decide whether the rest of the day really needs a plan.

Close enough to hear the island calling, hidden enough to have a world of your own.

Tucked away in a peaceful corner of the island, Papaya House is just a short walk from Gili Meno’s white sand beaches. Enter through a wooden gate into your own sandy garden, complete with a pool, outdoor shower, and a shaded dining bale for open-air meals. It’s designed for privacy and total relaxation.
